And we are
No solecism
In the passing of millennia
A drifting empire flotsam
Among nameless ruins
Flickering embers
Against the winds of time
As history unfolds
Nothing is sacred
And nothing is born
Through the valley of Lethe
And the mounts of Oblivion
I passed a million
Nameless gravestones
When I saw the earth
And the welkin turn ashen
And the light of the world
Abandon its vessel
Seemingly
Apathetic
Standing at the edge
Of the yawning chasm
From ravenous thoughts
Poorly concealed behind
Preposterous ideals
The true gist of actions
Is revealed
Under the national mock identity
It’s all empty
The travesty is exposed
Bu the cycle begins anew
In the uproar of blood
A new fake prophet
Will come forth
(Will come forth)
As history unfolds
Their deeds are frowned upon
For nothing will be saved
And nothing will be worth
From seamless visions
Of disintegration
Ancient perils
Return to haunt the mind
A terror predating human words
In these bloody waters
We’ve been drowning
For so long
And the seabed
Is nowhere
To be found
Old shackles
Now coated in gold
This throne of bones
Will grow and grow
New vessels
To carry the curse
From the womb
To the grave
And let the covetous fire
Reclaim its place
Perpetuating decay
Like hierophants
And heroes of
Forsaken myths
We are the epigones
Of made up glories

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub

incredibly well-played melo bm from indonesia, dealing with the topic of genocide in that country. the high-water mark for a band with an already great catalog. Glitzy Límon

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
